English Tourist Board 3 Star Rated

The Stables is a late 18th Century single storey converted stable and coach house, and offers ideal holiday accommodation at Cornhill-on-Tweed  in the beautiful England/Scotland Borders. It is situated adjacent to the owner's 1840s Dower House  in the village.

The village of Cornhill is one mile from Coldstream on the River Tweed - ideal for exploring the beautiful, rolling Borders countryside and many historic towns. For walkers, the Cheviot Hills offer unlimited opportunities, and there are good local walks from the cottage. Berwick-upon-Tweed, Holy Island and Bamburgh are all within easy driving distance, and there are miles of clean, sandy beaches to enjoy. Horse riding, cycling, fishing and golf are all available locally.

Cornhill has an excellent village shop and grocery orders may be placed in advance. The Post Office, parish church and  pub/hotel are all within five minutes walk, together with local bus services. Coldstream provides a range of everyday shopping, and a large supermarket is situated on the outskirts of Berwick-upon-Tweed.
